Bust portrait.
2015-1628.
Born Feb. 13th, 1890; died Nov. 3rd 1980. His father was Rev. George E. Swan. Military service: turned down on draft, Sept. 1917. He enlisted in Pasadena in Feb. 1918. He was assigned to Ordnance School, University of California and sailed overseas July 31st, 1918. After the war ended, he was discharged at the Presidio, Aug. 9th 1919. During his time in the military, he advanced from Private to Corporal. After his discharge, Swan worked as a salesman in South Pasadena. He is buried in San Gabriel Cemetery, San Gabriel, CA.
