Description
Photograph of a view of Stewart and Mission Street, showing earthquake damage, San Francisco, 1906. The intersection of the Stewart and Mission Streets can be seen at center with tracks striping the cobblestone roads. "Stevedores Exchange" stands at the corner with the exterior walls of its second floor crumbled over the sidewalks in front of it. The debris has covered the sidewalk all the way around the block, partially covering a sign on the right wall which reads "Gilt Edge Whiskeys".
