Hodges, pastor of Van Nuys Assembly of God Church, stands in foreground as Bill Gregorchuck, on scaffold, and Watson Argue, discuss construction at 6366 Tyrone Ave. New sanctuary, built on top of old, turned heads of Valley motorists. May be uncomfortable, but pastor says they haven't missed a service during transition."
