Description
Taken on March 14, 1942, this photograph shows the family of Archibald Mull standing before the front door of their home at 1358 Fortieth Street, in East Sacramento. Mull was a Boalt Law School graduate and was a practicing attorney until his death in 1978. He went on to play an influential role in the development of the Earl Warren Legal Center at the University of California, Berkeley, and served as President of the California Bar Association from 1949 to 1950. A native of Sacramento, he descended from a pioneer family from North Carolina who settled the Sloughouse area of southeast Sacramento County.
