Description
A woman wears a yellow, off-the-shoulder dinner dress with short, puffed sleeves. Vertical lines of decoration run down the front of the dress, and decorative bands adorn the hem. The woman's shoes are blue, and her elbow-length gloves are white with scalloped edges. She wears dangling, pearl drop earrings and a pearl necklace with a large pendant composed of a purple gem set off by more pearls. Her yellow hat has a large, swooping brim and is trimmed with yellow-and-white ribbon bows, bursts of lace, and large plumes in white and yellow. Below the hat, she wears a gold circlet in her hair. The woman sits on a truncated chaise longue which is ornately carved and upholstered in blue. Written in pencil in the upper right is "'29".
