Photograph of an acoustical tile booth in the basement of the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce building, ca.1938. A booth is set up in the foreground at left and is displaying samples of acoustic ceiling tiles and pictures of buildings where they have been installed. A cutout of a man holding a hammer can be seen at left. Another, unidentified booth can be seen in the background at right behind a large pillar. Lights can be seen hanging from the ceiling. Legible signs include, from left: "[...]otex Acoustical Products", "Modernize", "Acousti-Celotex", and "Vibrafram".
