This photograph is contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco."
Text written under photo: "Last horse car to leave the ferry building the policeman is Pete Burns." The last horsecar was #45; this view shows car #46. The Ferry Building is behind it. The car's driver is wearing a hat that says "Sight Seeing Agent." The conductor is standing on the rear platform. A small group of people, including Officer Burns, are waiting behind the car.
