Photograph of an eastward view of Third Street from a point 200 feet west of Carondelet Street prior to street improvements, June 25, 1931. Third Street runs from the foreground to the background at center and is an unpaved road. A small hill can be seen at center, and a very tall building is visible in the background at center on top of a larger hill. Several men can be seen in the foreground at left, and an early-model automobile is visible near a stand of trees at right. Houses can be seen in the distance at left. Compares to USC-0-1-1-505 taken October 18, 1933.
