Mountain View American Legion float depicting a scene from a then popular play called "Lightnin." The float depicts the exterior of the hotel in the play with pink and white roses. The float was dedicated to Mr. and Mrs. Bacon. Mr. Frank Bacon was author of the play. He and his wife were former residents of Mountain View. Crowds of people are watching.
