Description: View 3: Hollywood as seen from across the Hollywood Freeway. View shows the many buildings in the area which includes the Capitol Records Building (left) and Knickerbocker Hotel (right). Photo dated: February 5, 1992. Capitol Records is in a cylindrical shape, which was devised from a stack of records. 13 stories rise, 150 ft. to provide 78,000 sq. ft. Built in 1954. Architect was Welton David Becket, contractor, C.L. Peck Co.
