Republican Mural, Beechmount Avenue, West Belfast, 1989. Mural sets out 'The Five Just Demands' of the prison protest which led to the Blanket Protest and ultimately the Hunger Strike of 1981. '1. The Right to Wear their Own Clothes. 2. The Right to Refrain from Prison Work. 3. Free Association with Other Political Prisoners. 4. One Letter One Parcel per Week. 5.Restoration of Remission of Sentence Lost through their Protest'. painted by Beechmount Youth against H-Block and Armagh prisons.
