Florence of Pennsylvania, standing with one hand resting on a stack of books; sketch of a building along a waterfront with boats hangs under books at right, presumably of the Old Navy Yard on the Delaware River in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Date supplied by cataloger based on printer history; Thomas S. Wagner operated his own enterprise from 1858-1863. "Photograph by Brady. Thos. S. Wagner's Lith. 38 Franklin Place, Philada. On Stone by A. Newsam."--text, bottom margin. "Representative from Pennsylvania. Truly yr [sic] friend Thomas B. Florence"--text, bottom center margin.
