Photograph of students and faculty participating in a peace march, USC, 1970. Two men and one woman can be seen leading the march for peace, holding a sign that reads: "50,000 Letters for Peace". "Student and faculty protestors leave campus (above) as peaceful side walk parade begins. The brought 50,000 letters to President Nixon to be mailed at downtown Los Angeles Post Office" -- clipping from Trojan Family, June 1970 attached to the verso. "... Picture first appeared in June issue of Trojan Family" -- clipping attached to the verso. "Student and faculty demonstrators can be seen marching from the campus for a sidewalk parade to the downtown Los Angeles post office where 50,000 letters to President Nixon were taken for mailing. This picture first appeared in the June issue of Trojan Family in 1970. A giant scroll, which had been taped to a sidewalk in front of the Administration building awaiting signers, was sent to USC alumna Patricia Ryan Nixon urging her to influence the President" -- The Trojan gallery, p. 211
