Description
Kaar Engineering, Palo Alto, pair of handheld VHF radio transmitter/receivers, an early hand held telephone, c. 1955. Base reads: "This Transceiver is (A) designed, adjusted and tested to comply with Section 15.205 of FCC rules. (B) To be used only with a single element antenna less than 5 feet in length, as supplied. (C) Certified to comply with FCC Part 15 Subpart E when operated without departure from the instructions and specifications of Kaar Engineering Corp."
