Image of a fleet of ships that made up the Stone Fleet that sailed from New Bedford, Massachusetts, on November 16, 1861, during the American Civil War; names of all pictured vessels along with their captains and tonnage captioned in bottom margin.
"Lithd. by L. Prang & Co., 34 Merchants Row, Boston."--text, bottom left margin. "Entered, according to Act of Congress, in the year 1862 by Benj. Russell, in the Clerks Office of the District Court of Massachusetts."--text, bottom center margin.
