Photograph caption dated March 28, 1938 reads, "Frankie Fisher, said to have been a member of the notorious Bugs Moran gang of Chicago, and Gertrude Coleman were arrested by police on Los Angeles early today. Photos show the pair. Fisher was held on suspicion of violating the state narcotic laws and on suspicion of robbery. Miss Coleman was held on suspicion of robbery. Officers said Fisher tossed an opium pipe out the car as they stopped him after recognizing him from a previous arrest."
