Born in 1928. Lived in Bishop, 4-C Ranch, Longear Ranch, Mammonth Ranch, Round Valley. Ranches in area between Bishop and Big Pine. Mammoth Creek Ranch. Cattle drives to Long Valley. Old time cowboys. Ainsley Springs Old Mammoth. Changes in cattle industry in Eastern Sierra. Relationship with Forest Service. Conflicts between sheepmen and cattlemen. Tex Cushion. Hot Creek and Whitmore Hot Springs. Old Mammoth. Other Cattlemen in Long Valley.
