Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on September 15, 1964 states: "Work is progressing steadily on the construction of the 29th-30th Streets Freeway as this aerial view looking north from O Street indicates. City transit authority buses still are parked in the freeway path. The project, between A and P Streets, will cost $6.2 million." The Alhambra Theater can be seen in the upper right corner.
