Description
Photograph of a model of a camouflaged military installation and runway during World War II, ca.1939. A model of a military area, perhaps made of clay, sits at center, depicted with a long runway cutting toward the right in the center of the board. Rows of houses, vegetation, and other structures appear in rectangles of varying sizes. The model sits on a grassy plot of land beside the pavement, which peeps through at right. Photoprint reads: "looking East, 2 pm".
