Description
Photograph of carvings inside the Citadel of the Pyramids at San Juan Teotihuacán, Mexico, [s.d.]. Seven intricately carved faces can be seen on two tiers at center. Three can be seen on the bottom row, while four are visible on the top. The faces do not resemble any living creature, but instead are mythic composites. A corrugated metal roof can be seen above the second tier.
