Description
Residence of the singer Amelita Galli-Curci circa 1939. It was a SoCA AIA award winner and is a fine example of Wallace Neff's California style, made dramatic with soaring chimneys and near-flat roofs. View is from the street. Gebhard and Winter see a "rambling Andalusian farmhouse" and "the vigor of the Hispanic tradition of the late 1930s." It was built in 1936 and remodelled in 1938 and 1941.
