Photograph of Clayton E. Triggs taken at Manzanar Incarceration Camp. He is wearing a three-piece, dark, pinstripe suit standing on a dirt road out in the desert. He has a light cigar in his left hand and a hat in his right. In the background are two parked cars and a truck. Other men in suits are standing behind the bed of the truck. The collection was donated by Ralph "Pete" Merritt, Jr. and Patricia Merritt. It is comprised of photographs from an album created by L. Josephine Hawes, the Chief Nurse at the Manzanar Hospital, and individual photographs collected by Ralph P. Merritt, the Project Director of the Manzanar War Relocation Center.
