Description
Pan Pacific Auditorium, a major Los Angeles expression of Streamline Moderne architectural style, was designed by Walter C. Wurdeman and Welton David Becket and built between 1935 and 1938. The building burned in 1989.
Photograph caption date stamped April 1, 1964 reads, "Joan Salvato of Miami, Fla., world's champion fly-caster, will headline the 'Parade of Outdoor Champions' at the Los Angeles Sportsmen's Show, April 2-12, at Pan-Pacific Auditorium. Show hours will be 4 and 8 p.m. weekdays, 2, 4 and 8 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays."
