Description
Image of an advertisement for No-To-Bac tobacco cessation aid featuring a warrior standing with one foot placed on another warrior on the ground. The standing man is holding a sword, and has armor on his right arm and leg. His shield reads "No-To-Bac." The fallen man has a shield that reads "Nicotine." The background is of hills and trees, with a Greek temple at upper right.
Item originally owned by illustrator Curtis Wager-Smith (1870-1950). Artist and date supplied by cataloger based on reproduction held by the National Library of Medicine. "The Dando Print Phila."--text, bottom center margin. "No-to-bac Kills the Tobacco Habit Sold & Guaranteed By All Druggists"--text, bottom center of image.
