Description
Photograph of Boulder City, Nevada "with the business section in the center and homes of officials in foreground", March, 1933. Photoprint reads "Other employees in distance. Present population about 5000". Clothing hangs from lines in front of the large houses which stand in small yard in the foreground. An automobile stands on the road behind the first houses which separates them from a row of smaller houses with more spacious yards. Just beyond those homes lies a large road which introduces the man cube-like buildings of the business district at center. The largest building stands at the center of the group while rows of identical buildings stand resembling a field of crops in the background. Faint hills can be seen in the distance.
