Description
Gold and red painted wood sign with additional gold painted wood figures that attached to the sign. A: Intricately carved piece of redwood is a bakery sign, colored with red border and red chemise letters in relief. Translation of chemise characters is: "One store at lawn inside big south gate. One store at Buddhist town peace street. One branch built this different cookie store. Make and bake." B: Carved wooden figure acts as hanger for sign. One hanger is missing. Gilt colored. C-E: Three ornamental blocks carved from solid wood blocks to be nailed or glued to edge of sign, gilt colored. F: Faded rose tassel. Additional ornamentation to sign.
