An interior view of the American Avenue Drive-in Market located at 631 American (later known as Long Beach Boulevard). A crowd of people fill the store, a large rectangular room, awaiting service. The store is divided into marked sections such as "Grocery Dept.", "Health Dept.", Tea & Coffee Dept.". The store opened on November 26, 1929. DATE NOTES: Circa 1929. ORIG.
