Live shows. Segments include tape of band Sexteto Diablo performing; taped interview by Tony Guerra of Channel 36 broadcaster Isabel Durant on her experience in broadcast journalism as well as her views on meaning of Cinco de Mayo; Tony Guerra talks with two members of the band Vizio (?) about being musicians; tape of interviews with Hayward high school students around Sunset and the Southgate Community Center as the school year ends; taped montage of high school kids at Don Castro Regional Recreation Center after graduation. Barrio Expressions was a community access television show documenting Chicanx and Latinx life in the East San Francisco Bay Area. It ran on Hayward cable television from 1976-1985. While the shows were filmed primarily in the Hayward area, they include stories from around the East Bay and San Jose. The show aired weekly, with 26 episodes per year.
