The following information is also provided about the 1935 Masquers: "Masquers Society this year has been particularly active in sponsoring the drama at Pomona. Under the leadership of Norman Philbrick, a number of new projects were undertaken. The idea of season tickets, good for all college plays, was worked out, and proved so popular that the entire issue was sold out. A Freshman dramatic organization, which met regularly and presented a series of one-act plays, was sponsored. 'Masqers' Night,' at which the society entertained the college with a series of one-act plays and skits, was held on April 26, and pronounced a grand success. Among the more traditional activities of Masquers this year were production of its play 'The Devil's Disciple,' and the social evening spent at the Pasadena Community Playhouse, where 'The Mystery of the Broadwalk Asylum' was enjoyed. Officers include Norman Philbrick, president; Lenore Campbell, vice-president; and Catherine Kirkpatrick, secretary-treasurer".
