Description
Channel Pie Shop stood at the northeast corner of Alhambra Boulevard and Casita Way, as shown in this Sept. 26, 1936, photograph. The design brainchild of Sacramento architect Harry Devine, the 75-by-112-foot bakery was built in 1934 for $13,000. Owned by David R. McKinley, the company had been located at 3566 C St. Channel Pie ceased operations in 1960.
