Description
Mamre: Auch eine Ruine ist mitten im Dorf zu finden." ("Mamre: A ruin can be found in the middle of the village, too."). The picture shows a ruin and two boys of African or mixed origin in front of it. The roof of the ruin only consists of the roof beams. There are still some remains of reed on some of the roof beams. The house wall is broken on the left. In the entrance is brushwood. Big branches of trees lie in front of the house. On the right of the house is a wall. In the foreground are to sticks in the shape of divining rods. Written on the card board: "P. Theile. 1934.
