Photograph of a birdseye view of Santa Monica looking north from Palisades Park, ca.1910. Pacific Coast Highway is at center and heads into the distance at center. It is lined with early-model automobiles and rows of utility poles. The left side of the road is occupied by a varied assortment of buildings that back up on the ocean, which is visible at left. At right are the steep cliffs that make up Palisades Park. They are lined with trees at the top and bushes at the bottom. Two small wharfs jut out into the water at center.
