Photograph article dated December 19, 1962 partially reads, "A widespread scourge is passing over the Antelope Valley decimating the animal population, leaving large pens bare and setting livestock aflutter. It's the holidays. Large, proud turkeys strutted nervously through their pens, their eyes moving quickly to catch sight of everything going on around them. In another blink, they were ready for someone's dinner table." Note: Pictured is rancher Victor Ryckebosch inspecting eggs.; See image #00122087 for additional photo in this series.
