Murder suspect trapped in apartment house at 1114 North Poinsettia Drive in West Hollywood, 15 July 1959. Don Decker (murder suspect hidden out in his home) Mrs. Carole Decker (Don's mother) Robert Lee Kilmer -- 28 years (suspect in murder of Mrs. Meredith Prestridge -- body found in trunk car. Kilmer later committed suicide. Negative of him dying) Bonnie Becknell -- 18 years. Caption slip reads: "Photographer: Gray. Date: 1959-07-14. Reporter: Sandy. Assignment: Murderer trapped. 3: Sheriff's wearing masks & bullet proof vests rush apt. where Kilmer was hiding. 78: Detective peers into gas-filled apt. after first bust-in. 73: Don Decker talks to his mother Carole Decker (Back to Camera) whose apartment was where murder suspect (Kilmer) stayed for several days. 4: Deputy Sheriff put on bullet proof vests & gas masks before bursting in on apt. where Kilmer died. 95: Gas masked Sheriffs, etc. in front of building. 22: Victim (Kilmer) on bed awaits ambulance as gas masked Sheriffs look on. 87/88: Robert Lee Kilmer, dying suspect, is brought out by ambulance attendants. 74: (on Rt.) Bonny Becknell 18, wipes eyes with (left) Mrs. Carole Decker in apt. where Kilmer died. 77: General views of armed deputies surrounding apt. home 1114 N. Poinsettia, W. Hollywood".
