Description
Photograph was edited for publication purposes
Photograph caption dated March 27, 1962 reads, "That's what kennelman Emil Brown Sr. wonders as he feeds one of three monkeys found on the loose Monday. The Van Nuys animal shelter came to the rescue, penned them up, and gave them a square monkey meal. Shelter officials said the monkeys obviously can't get along loose on the outside, and fight each other when put together on the inside."
