Awaiting operation at Seaside Hospital, Long Beach -- William Willis, 7 years, of 943 Terrace Drive, Long Beach, gets word of courage from father Lieut. Thurston L. Willis of US Coast Guard. Boy inhaled metal gadget from New Year's horn at home -- Father took him to hospital where Xrays showed metal gadget in boy's bronchial tube. At time of photo (8:30 p) operation was set for 9 pm".
