Photograph caption dated February 6, 1956 reads, "Hendrik Jan Bolderink, 60, retired railroad engineer, has highballed many tra ins [sic] across the Dutch countryside. Today he is engrossed in painting Valley scenes. He and his wife are visiting their daughter in San Fernando. They will return to Europe next month."
