Photograph caption dated February 22, 1929 reads, "George T. Porter of San Pedro is pictured with his prized Washingtonian relic, a copy of the Constitution of the United States printed in Philadelphia about 1820 and containing a fine likeness of Washington printed from an old woodcut. This is the oldest printed copy of the Constitution that can be found in the country, according to the Historical Society of Philadelphia."
