Photographic group portrait of the members of the East Side Bicycling Club in Los Angeles, showing a banner for the club, ca.1896. The members of the East Side Bicycling club, many with their bicycles, are assembled in front of a small clapboard that bears a sign reading "East Side Club". Each man wears a hat and an oversized bow tie. Two men in the left foreground hold a banner that reads "E.S.C.C.". Compares to CHS-31231, another photograph of the club.
