Description: The Pico House, sometimes called "Old Pico House", built by Pio Pico in 1869-70. In this view the Old Pico House has a "Hotel" sign on the corner of the building (far left in the picture), and various signs at street level for business: "Rooms," "Lopez Novelty Store," "El Leon Shoe Shop" and "Liquors". A man is walking across the street towards the Pico on the right side of the picture.
