Photograph [date unknown] shows singer Judd McMichael cleaning one of the guns in his collection. He is one fourth of the singing group, the Merry Macs, along with his two brothers Joe and Ted. A number of female singers, throughout the years, made up the fourth member in the group, beginning with Cheri McKay, Helen Carroll, Mary Lou Cook, and finally Marjory Garland who later married Judd McMichael. The group appeared in a number of movies, the most popular of which is the Abbot and Costello comedy, "Ride 'Em Cowboy."
