Description from 1983 Walk into History reads, "The current office of Mill Valley Travel is build on a propery that was originally a Signal Oil Service station. Shortly after World War II it was a shop for installing undersealer on automobiles. Jack Creighton tore down the old building and built offices which were first leased to Bill Lewis and then to Scott, McCall as real estate offices. The property was owned by J.J. Creighton (who was a copywriter for a San Francisco afternoon newspaper). Mr. Creighton, senior, also built the pink hoise at 7 Mountain View which was sold about 15 years ago. The son still owns the Mill Valley Travel property. He is a retired merchandizer for Sherman Clay and Co."
