Photograph was edited for publication purposes
Photograph caption dated May 22, 1964 reads "A 26-ton concrete column is dramatically raised into place at the Broadway Topanga in Topanga Plaza. A 23-column colonade (sic) will surround the structure." The article partially reads "Scheduling completion of the future Broadway-Topanga store in Topanga Plaza Shopping Center, Canoga Park, for early fall of this year, the classic colonade (sic) is well on its way to completion."
