This photo shows the tallest mercantile building in Southern California, the home of the Eastern Outfitting Co., at Ninth Street and Broadway. It is the largest institution of its kind west of Chicago. Four-sided clock tower, which is emblazoned with "Eastern" on top of the building is visible. Photo dated: Feb. 15, 1932.
