Photograph caption dated December 6, 1957 reads "Dr. Jerry Land, left, chairman of pediatrics department of St. Joseph Hospital, greets Dr. Alexandre Minkowski, chief of pediatrics clinic and head of research at National Institute of Hygiene in Paris. Dr. Minkowski presented an illustrated lecture to the hospital's medical staff and visiting doctors on the 'Neurological Approach to the New-Born.' It was his sole Los Angeles area address on his current American tour." The hospital is in Burbank.
