A row of grain storage silos at the Los Angeles County Farm in Downey. The farm contained 400 acres of farm land. There were 26 buildings on the farm, and the average daily attendance in 1923 was 766 persons. The net cost per day per resident was 62 cents. The farm was operated by the Los Angeles County Department of Charities. One source dates the photo as taken in May 1933, and another April 8, 1928.
