Description
Famous Yankee twins--Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig are now on homerun tour to California. Standing left to right: "Larrupin Lou" Gehrig; Christy Walsh, Manager of Tour, and "Bustin' Babe" Ruth. Heretofore when Babe has played exhibition baseball he has worn a New York Yankee uniform the other players wearing miscellaneous uniforms. This year Babe and Lou decided to doll up and in each city, Ruth will play on one team known as the "Bustin' Babes" and Gehrig on the other team known as the "Larrupin' Lou's." Babe's team will be dressed in black uniforms trimmed in white, Lou's team will be in wite trimmed with black. Photo dated: November 7, 1927.
