Description
Photograph of the upper jaw of an elephant skull, ca.1920. There are two protrusions, apparently where the tusks attach, at the base of the skull. Part of the bone around the eye socket on the right side is missing. The front of the bone is lightly-colored while the back part is darker the entire skull has small dark spots on it. It is resting on a table in front of a stucco wall.
