Description
Photograph of houses tilted together on Shatwell Street, San Francisco, 1906. The house on the right appears to stand upright with two wide staircases leading to its doors and tall rectangular windows in its wooden walls. An open fence stands at street level on the right with a chair leaning against it. The second house stands on the left, also with a staircase leading to its door. A small fence protects a large arched window which stands at street level while other large windows can be seen in the higher floors. The house on the left leans against the house on the right as it breaks a staircase post and drives its right side into the ground. Damage can be seen in the small path between the two homes at center.
