Description
A ground breaking ceremony at Moffett Field. The foreground shows a group of people who are turned at and facing away from the camera. They are looking at an elevated stage that has eight men in a row, most of whom are in uniform. The man in the center is standing and talking into a microphone. The stage is decorated with checkered banners. Behind the ceremony there are buildings and a hangar somewhat visible. In the bottom margin the names "Eleanor, Jeannie, Ella, Mary Ellen" appear and "1951" are all handwritten. On the back is typed "N A 14L 4907 Date 7/26/51 SUBJECT: Ground breaking ceremonies--new Supply Building, NAS Moffet Field, California. RELEASED If published, credit must be given as follows "OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPH US NAVY.
